About Kelly Holt
Kelly Holt has trained as a dancer for over 20 years. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in dance and visual media from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. Holt has trained with ballet, modern, and jazz dance professionals from the Alvin Ailey School, Royal Ballet, Twyla Tharp Dance Company, Martha Graham Dance Company, Limon Dance Company and Paul Taylor Dance Company.

She has choreographed for and performed in several IPFW Purely Dance performances and is a performing member of the new modern dance company, Mikautadze Dance Theatre, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Holt teaches dance to all ages in classes as well as private dance instruction at a variety of schools and studios in the area. She choreographs musicals for high schools, teaches dance and movement at summer programs for children, and accepts requests to teach a variety of fitness-based classes for adults in the community.
As a result of her active involvement and reputation in the areas of dance, choreography and creative movement, Holt is often asked to share her expertise — and does so in a variety of ways.

She brings to everyone’s experience a unique teaching and communication style — up-beat, motivating, nurturing and fun — allowing for movement that is natural yet appropriately challenging and goal-oriented for each person or group.
